Cookie Policy

This site sets no cookies. Here is the whole story anyway. Last updated 7 July 2026.

A note on where this stands. This site takes no bookings or payments and stores no personal data. What follows is our real, current policy — a few company registration details are still being added (marked in the text), and everything here gets a professional legal review before online payments ever launch.

In short: this website sets no cookies. None. No analytics, no advertising pixels, no tracking of any kind — and no third-party scripts that could set cookies on our behalf. That is why there is no cookie banner here: there is nothing to ask your consent for.

The one thing we do store

If you use the colour-scheme picker on our design page, your browser remembers your choice so the site looks the same next time you visit. This is a single entry in your browser’s local storage (named mayaCwV1), holding only the name of the palette you picked — “sand”, for example.

It is saved only when you choose a colour yourself, it never leaves your device, it identifies nothing and tracks nothing, and it stays until you clear it. European law treats a display preference you set yourself as strictly necessary for the service you asked for, so it does not need consent — but we still want you to know it is there.

To remove it:

Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Delete browsing data → tick “Cookies and other site data”.
Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data → search “mayaflats” → Remove.
Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data.
Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data.

If you browse privately, the choice simply won’t be saved at all.

Our host

The site is served by Vercel. Vercel does not set cookies on an ordinary public website like this one. Like every host, it keeps standard server access logs — those involve data rather than cookies, so they are described in our Privacy Policy.

Map tiles

Opening the map on our apartments page loads tiles from OpenFreeMap, whose published policy states it uses no cookies or tracking technologies and sets nothing in your browser. That is their statement, which we pass on rather than guarantee — the connection itself is described in our Privacy Policy.

If this ever changes

If we ever add anything that needs your consent — analytics, embedded content, a booking system that uses cookies — we will update this page and show you a clear consent notice before it is switched on, not after.
