Terms of Use

These terms explain what this website is, what it does and doesn’t do, and where you stand when you use it. We’ve written them in plain language on purpose. If anything is unclear, write to us and a person will answer.

1. Who runs this site

mayaflats.com is the website of Maya’s Residence, a family-run aparthotel business with homes in Gdańsk, Poland and Athens, Greece.

The site is operated by:

• Athens property registry numbers (MHTE/AADE): we are adding each home’s number to this page and to that home’s page.

2. What this site is for

This site shows you our homes — photographs, descriptions, locations, prices and honest practical information — so you can decide whether you’d like to stay with us. For our Athens homes it also hands you over to our booking page, where you book and pay. There are no accounts to create, nothing to sign up for and no forms to fill in here, and no card details are ever typed into or stored on mayaflats.com.

3. Booking, and how it actually happens

Athens — online. On an Athens home’s page, or on our Book direct page, you choose your dates and press Book now. That opens our booking page, which our reservation system, Hostfully, runs for us at book.hostfully.com — from that moment you are no longer on mayaflats.com. There you see the full total for your dates — rent, cleaning fee and tax — before you pay, and you pay by card. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.

An online booking is made with MAYA’S GREECE HOSPITALITY AND SERVICES A.E. It is confirmed when the booking page confirms it, and the price, cancellation terms and house rules shown to you there are the terms of your stay. Showing a home on this website is an invitation to book, not yet the booking itself.

Cancelling an Athens booking: free until 30 days before check-in, with a full refund. If you cancel less than 30 days before check-in, or do not arrive, you pay the full price and nothing is refunded — so a booking made less than 30 days before check-in cannot be refunded. To cancel, write to us by email or WhatsApp; we make the refund ourselves, to the card you paid with. Each booking keeps the cancellation terms shown when it was made: bookings made under our earlier terms (free cancellation until 48 hours before check-in) keep them. If this page and the booking page ever differ, what the booking page showed you when you booked applies.

Gdańsk — opening soon. Our Gdańsk homes are shown on this site so you can see what we have, and online booking for them opens soon. Until it does they cannot be booked here or on our booking page, and there is no other booking route on this site.

4. Accuracy of what you see

We work hard to keep this site truthful. What you see — photographs, prices, practical details — comes from our own records, and we update it as things change; but things do move: calendars change and prices are seasonal. The “from” prices on this site are nightly starting prices and do not include the cleaning fee or tax; for an Athens booking, the price that counts is the total our booking page shows you before you pay. Prices shown for our Gdańsk homes are indicative starting prices only. If we’ve got something wrong, tell us and we’ll fix it.

5. Intellectual property

The photographs, videos and words on this site are ours (or used with permission) and are protected by copyright. You’re welcome to browse, save and share pages for personal use; please don’t republish our photography or reuse our content commercially without asking.

The maps are a shared effort that deserves its credit: map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, served in the OpenMapTiles schema via OpenFreeMap, each under its own licence.

6. Acceptable use

Use the site as a guest would: to look, to read, to write to us. Please don’t try to break it, probe it, scrape it at scale, or use it to send unlawful, deceptive or abusive messages. That’s the whole list.

7. Our responsibility to you

We stand behind what we publish, and nothing in these terms takes away rights the law gives you. In particular:

• Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for intent or gross negligence.
• If you deal with us as a consumer, the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence apply in full, whatever these terms say.

Beyond that, the site is an information service that hands Athens bookings over to our booking page. We are not responsible for interruptions outside our control (for example, hosting outages), or for the third-party services you choose to contact us through — your email provider or WhatsApp run under their own terms.

The terms of an actual stay — check-in, payment, cancellation, house rules — are the ones shown on our booking page when you book, not these.

8. Complaints and disputes

If something’s wrong, please tell us first at info@celestinresidence.pl. A person reads every message, and most things are fixed fastest that way.

If we can’t resolve it together, consumers in the EU may take a complaint to the consumer-protection or alternative-dispute-resolution bodies in their own country, or to their local courts — nothing in these terms restricts that. We are not currently signed up to a specific dispute-resolution body. (The EU’s online dispute resolution platform has been discontinued, which is why we no longer refer to it.)

9. Changes to these terms

This site is young, and these terms will evolve. Online booking for our Athens homes opened on 21 September 2026; we rewrote these terms ourselves for that day, in plain words, and updated them on 22 September 2026, when the last enquiry buttons left the site, and on 1 October 2026, when free cancellation moved to 30 days before check-in. A professional legal review of them is still to come. When we change them we’ll update the date at the top, and the published version applies to your use of the site from that date. A change here never alters anything already agreed with you when you booked.
